The first step is to make sure you have a good signal into the repeater you are accessing. If you dont have a good signal the IRLP computer will not be able to decode your tones. The next thing to do is key up and ID with your callsign when accessing the IRLP/Remote Base System. Below is the procedure on how to access the IRLP... Enjoy and have FUN!




Step 1 - Key up and press 115. The controller will say "434.050 plus". This turns the 430 remote base on in receive mode.

Step 2 - Key up and press 12. The controller will say "430 Transmitt". This turns the 430 remote base into transmitt mode.

Step 3 - Key up and press the # and then the four digit node number you are accessing. Example #9250 to access node number 9250.

Step 4 - You are now hooked to the IRLP and when you key up and talk you will be heard on the node you dialed up.

Step 5 - When you are done using the IRLP key up and press #73 to disconnect. You will get a disconnect message from the IRLP computer.

Step 6 - When you have disconnected from IRLP and are done press 13 to turn off the 430 remote base.

Step 7 - Goto step 1 and have more FUN!!!
